Pizza Pizza held steady as the top radio ad buyer in Toronto, according to spending rankings for the week of Feb. 22 to Feb. 28.
It was a very active week in Toronto, with the Government of Canada jumping up 28 positions to claim #2 and the upcoming Sexapalooza – the adult fun trade show – leaping 64 positions to #3. Porter Airlines travelled 60 slots to #5, and Sleep Country Canada moved 25 spots to claim #7.
A Citytv climb of 51 steps to #8, Pizza Nova jumping 470 places to #9 and an impressive #10 debut by The Bay round out this week’s chart.
In Montreal, Dormez-vous slid up three positions to #1; Porter Airlines hopped up five slots to #2; and Canadian Tire claimed another rung and transitioned to #3.
There was a trio of aggressive advancers in the Montreal market this week, starting with the #6 debut of insurance providers Belairdirect. A big 286-spot jump by The Home Depot and an 85-point kick-start by the Montreal Motorcycle Show filled out the top 10.
