Tim Hortons rises to the top: Media Monitors radio rankings, May 3 to 9, 2010

The Government of Quebec holds on to the top spot in Montreal.

Tim Hortons moved up seven spots to land at #1 this week in Toronto, while Porter Airlines rose two places to #2. The Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) moved up four places to #3 with an awareness campaign, but some of the biggest movers were Lowe’s, jumping 20 places to #4, and Honda, which moved up 41 places to #8.

In contrast, there wasn’t much movement among sponsors airing on Montreal radio as the Government of Quebec, which is currently negotiating contracts with the province’s general practitioners, held on to the #1 spot, Ford Lincoln Mercury stayed at #2 and AlarmForce stayed at #3. Jamieson Laboratories made the second-biggest jump in the ranks, rising from #48 to #4. It’s followed by Hydro-Québec, which was the biggest shaker debuting on the ranks in the #5 spot.
