OMG! Fox’s camp dramedy Glee won Tuesday night for Global Television as the opening week for Canada’s fall TV season kicked into gear.

Global secured 2.18 million total Gleek viewers, just ahead of the second hour of Dancing With the Stars‘ live results show on ABC, with 2.09 million viewers, according to BBM Canada PPM data.

Fox’s House took Monday night for Global, also against Dancing With the Stars on CTV, marking a strong start for the Canwest Global network with its fall 2010 campaign.

The Glee lead-in Tuesday night also helped the sophomore season of NCIS:LA grab 1.6 million viewers in the 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. slot.

The CBC saw The Rick Mercer Report open its latest season with an impressive 1.2 million total viewers at 8 p.m., followed by This Hour Has 22 Minutes with 818,000 viewers.
