Digital publishers celebrate 2010 COPAs

Last night's Canadian Online Publishing Awards saw Torontoist, the CBC, Macleans.ca and TheStar.com win big.

Digital publishers, designers, editors and writers gathered together last night to celebrate the 2010 Canadian Online Publishing Awards.

The Masthead magazine-hosted awards covered trade, news and consumer categories, covering everything from Best Website and Best Video to Best Mobile App.

Taking home the most wins were the Toronto Star and CBC News with three wins each in the news category, and Macleans.ca, Cyberpresse and  Torontoist with two wins each in the consumer category.

Other winners from the night included Vitamin Daily for Best Online-Only Website, 20-Minute Supper Club for Best Newsletter, Elle Quebec for Best Video and Fashion magazine for Best Cross-Platform.
