P&G fetes beauty biz

The second Canadian P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards celebrated the nation's fashion media last night at a star-studded gala.

Hosted by none other than the always-glamorous Queen Latifah, P&G paid tribute to Canadian fashion media last night in Toronto with its Canadian Beauty and Grooming Awards gala last night.

The event, now in its second year, saw the glowing P&G spotlight shined on Canadian media heavyweights such as Aeroplan’s EnRoute magazine, Flare and Clin d’oeil, as well as outstanding industry personalities.

EnRoute took top honours in the ‘Best Cover’ category, while Ellecanada.com/Ellequebec.com won ‘Best Fashion or Beauty Website.’ Clindoeil.ca won ‘Best Fashion or Beauty Blog’ for the French-language category, while Beautyeditor.ca that captured the English category.

Media personalities celebrated last evening included Flare‘s Carlene Higgins for ‘Best Beauty Editor of a Magazine’ and the magazine’s fashion editor, Elizabeth Cabral, took top honours in her respective category as well. Editorial feature awards were handed out to Sharp, More, Voir, National Post, Clin d’oeil and EnRoute
