Astral Out-of-Home has added nine large-format digital billboards to its Toronto inventory, increasing the company’s number of digital faces in the city from four to 13.
With the new additions, the division of Astral Media now has a total of 32 screens in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Including transit, airport and traditional billboards, the company has more than 8,000 ad spaces in Quebec, Ontario and BC.
The high-resolution LED signs can display six ads that each display for 10 seconds at a time. The new screens will join their predecessors along major roads and highways in the Greater Toronto Area, including the billboard-heavy Gardiner Expressway, and are expected to be operational by January.
‘Digital advertising reflects the way our world is now – instantaneous, dynamic, flexible and in real-time, and it allows marketers to achieve even greater performance through innovative targeted campaigns,’ says Luc Sabbatini, president, Astral Out-of-Home, in a statement.
