W Network premieres home shows in January

The channel is launching home-buying and reno shows to kick off the new year. Sponsorship and integration opps available.

W Network is starting off the new year with two original productions that could help homeowners keep their resolutions.

Property Brothers premieres Jan. 4 at 10 p.m. and is hosted by Drew Scott, a real estate agent, and Jonathan Scott, a contractor. Produced by Cineflix, the 60-minute show will follow the brothers as they help couples search for fixer-upper properties and then show them how to turn the houses into dream homes. The show will be promoted on-air and with online ads on the channel’s website.

The second show, Candice Tells All premieres Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. and features design expert Candice Olson, who is also the host of W Network’s Divine Design. Olson will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at her design process and where she gets her inspiration. Fusion Television is producing the 30-minute show, which will run for 26 episodes. The W Network will be running 30-second radio spots, online ads, and transit shelter ads in Toronto and Vancouver to promote the show, as well as ads on the W Network site and on air.

Both shows are targeting women 25- to 54-years-old, and brand integration and sponsorship opps are available.
