Julian Lai has been named the new director of research at MPG Canada, working out of the agency’s Toronto office.
Lai arrives at MPG from MEC’s international operations after spending four years as director of the agency’s Medialab China operations. A University of Western Ontario graduate, he has been working on the agency side of the media business since 1995.
The hire marks an increased focus on insight and research at MPG, a release on the announcement states, a move that the agency hopes will both serve its clients better and help bring in new business.
