Radio listeners in Winnipeg got a new station Tuesday morning as CHUM Radio Winnipeg’s FAB 94.3 went on the air, taking the spot of Curve 94.3.

The CTV-owned station is offering up traditional sponsorship and ad opps and is targeting 45- to 64-year-olds, with a slight female skew.

FAB 94.3, which arrived on the dial at 3 p.m. Tuesday, features hits from 1960s and ’70s.

As part of the new format, Winnipeg radio mainstays Beau, Tom and Frazier take over the morning show, moving from 99.9 BOB to FAB 94.3, while the previous morning show hosts on the channel, Jay and Andrea, move to 99.9 BOB.
