Giroux leaves Touche!PHD

Former Corus exec Sandra Wells is named VP of electronic media in his place.

Touche!PHD has announced that longtime VP Jean-Pierre Giroux will be leaving the agency.

Giroux, who has been with Touche! for 15 years, has not revealed what opportunity he is leaving for, only that it will be outside the field of communications, a release on the announcement stated.

Giroux helped launch the agency with partner Alain Desormiers, who thanked Giroux for his work with the agency in the release.

‘Jean-Pierre has been an essential part of Touché! from the start. He was actively involved in launching the company and was a driving force behind its growth. In addition to being an invaluable business partner, he has also been a close friend for over 30 years.’

Former Corus exec Sandra Wells has been named VP of electronic media in his place. In addition to her work with Corus, Wells has worked with Palm, Marketel and Optimedia. She starts at Touche!PHD on Jan. 17.
