Astral Out-of-Home has added 80 digital screens in Montreal-Trudeau International Airports domestic terminal.
The new 40-inch AeroVertical screens have a 90-second broadcast loop that can house up to six ads of 15 seconds each, Pierre Boisseau, VP, corporate communications, Astral Media, tells MiC.
‘This is a great way to reach out to consumers for our advertisers, and for us to provide advertisers with flexibility through our portfolio,’ he says. ‘Advertisers have the choice to opt for our digital or static advertising faces, so there are multiple products at their disposal they can leverage to promote their products.’
The OOH division of the mediaco already had 100 digital faces in the airport, which serves 12 million travellers per year. The previously existing screens were part of the flat-screen TV network and the PasseportMedia network, which offered rich visual content.
Astral OOH also has 11 screens in Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport, but Montreal is the first to house the companys AeroVertical screens, which can display animated content and are managed from its broadcast centre in Montreal.
