TSN goes mad for NCAA basketball

The broadcaster will be airing March Madness with original pre- and post-game shows. Sponsorship opps available.

TSN has signed on as the home of March Madness this year, winning the rights to be the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Championship.

Games will be played on TSN and TSN2, starting March 17, and the broadcaster will produce original pre- and post-game shows. With the agreement fresh, no sponsors have signed on, but there are sponsorship opps available.

This announcement comes on the heels of two other international signings that will have TSN airing soccer’s EURO 2012 and 2016 and the Tour de France. The broadcaster also signed a six-year agreement to air Major League Soccer, starting this season.
