Discovery World HD is launching a new 13-part Canadian series that takes viewers through Canada’s national parks, with musicians as the tour guides.
The National Parks Project premieres March 19 and is narrated by Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie.
Two episodes will air back to back each Saturday at 8 and 8:30 p.m. and again at 10 and 10:30 p.m.
The art and nature project also has an online home at Nationalparksproject.ca.
The series, which will help celebrate the centennial of Parks Canada, will feature three musicians per episode, including Sarah Harmer, Shad, Billy Talent and Matt Mays. Each episode will explore a different park.
