Spotted! Will and Kate make a royal ‘appearance’ at CTV

CTV broke out the tea, called in the Royal Guards and invited (cardboard cut-outs of) Will and Kate down to its headquarters today to promote its coverage of the Royal Wedding this Friday.

Passersby who don’t have a flight booked to attend the ceremony on Friday can stop by CTV today and tomorrow to get their photo taken with Will and Kate against a backdrop of Buckingham Palace and collect an invite to the network’s extensive scheduling rundown for the big day.

The Bell Media channel is celebrating the royal wedding with Olympic-like coverage, beginning at 3 a.m. on Friday with a slew of cross-network personalities who have been flown into London for the event.

MiC has to say we agree with ZenithOptimedia CEO Sunni Boot who recently told of the wedding day, “candidates and leaders who try to get on Facebook, TV or the radio that day will do so at their own peril. Citizens of all ages will want Kate and Will.”
