Shaw Media has announced an expanded partnership with CBS Interactive under its Shaw Premium Audience Network (S.P.A.N.).
The new sites joining the network include CBSNews.com, CBSSports.com and CNET, which expands Shaw Media’s reach beyond its typical female focus, Paul Burns, VP, digital media, Shaw Media tells MiC.
“We will be the exclusive sales force for this roster of sites in the Canadian territory,” he says. “These assets will also be sold, bundled and packaged with our existing networks of assets, including our network of sites. The addition of these sites add strength to verticals we had a presence in, but needed greater reach, particularly the technology vertical.”
S.P.A.N. was organized last May and already represents Shaw Media’s digital properties, as well as sites from NBC, A+E Television and CBS.
