HGTV Canada is adding a (picture) window into unconventional living spaces as part of its winter 2013 programming lineup.

The Shaw Media specialty channel kicks off its winter schedule on Jan. 2 with four new series, including Living Abroad, a pick-up from HGTV U.S.; House Hunters hybrid House Hunters: Renovation; You Live In What? and Home Strange Home.

Canadian series returning to the lineup for new seasons include Property Virgins Mondays at 9 p.m. (starting Jan. 7), with back-to-back episodes; Canada’s Handyman Challenge Tuesdays at 10 p.m (starting Jan. 22); Income Property Thursdays at 9 p.m. (starting Jan. 31, host Scott McGillivray is pictured) and Leave It To Bryan Thursdays at 10 p.m. (starting Feb. 7).
