Ody Giroux named president of Carat Montreal

The executive VP's promotion at the agency is effective immediately, taking over from Jacques Dorion.

Carat Montreal has announced that Ody Giroux is being promoted to the position of president at the agency’s Quebec office, effective immediately.

She takes over the position from Jacques Dorion who has been with Carat for 34 years and is leaving to pursue other experiences, according to an agency representative. Dorion was the founder of Stratégem, established in 1979, which was acquired by Carat in 1998.

Giroux has been with Carat since 1991, most recently working as the executive VP at Carat Montreal since January 2010.
