W Network has greenlit a fourth season of Come Dine With Me Canada.
The season will include 80 episodes of the half-hour food series, which will travel across Canada and include themed blocks.
Fourth season production, which began Apr. 15, will take place in locations including Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and St. John’s. The fourth season’s themed weeks will feature, for example, Italian cooking challenges and BBQ fare.
Come Dine With Me Canada, narrated by Jamie Carr, follows five strangers competing to throw the perfect dinner party. After a week of the five competitors wining, dining and entertaining each other, the top rated host or hostess wins a $1000 prize.
The half-hour series is based on the ITV Studios format, which has been produced in 36 territories internationally, including Germany, France and Australia.
Come Dine With Me Canada is produced by Proper Television in association with W Network.
The third season currently airs on W Network on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. with five back-to-back episodes.
