Rogers Media on Tuesday said it is to launch the youth-skewing network FXX in Canada on April 1.
A January 2014 launch for the premium channel had earlier been on the drawing board.
Rogers will provide a free preview period until June 30.
FXX will broadcast the Fargo TV drama, starring Billy Bob Thornton and shot in Alberta, and Chozen, the animated comedy from the creators of Eastbound & Down. It debuted in the US market in September 2013, aimed at a younger 18-34 demo.
FXX Canada, which follows the launch of FX Canada, will air original scripted dramas and movies from FX stateside, and Canadian series.
