Video advertising technology platform Videology has announced an expansion of its Canadian team as its business expands in the country.
The number of video ad impressions Videology has seen in Canada increased 51% year-over-year from 2013, with the number of cross-screen video campaigns jumping from 27% in the first quarter to 44% in the third quarter.
Joining the team are Peter Bates as senior commercial media account executive and Greg Hopper as technical sales specialist. Bates most recently worked with multi-screen advertising company YuMe and will be responsible for managing and onboarding publisher relationships in Canada in his new role.
Hopper comes to the company from his most recent role at MediaCom Canada. In his new role at Videology he will be responsible for ongoing training and implementation of Videology’s largest demand-side clients.
Last week the company announced it had hired Tim Castree as its managing director, North America.
