Bell Media’s Space specialty channel and BBC America have renewed Orphan Black for a fourth season.
Production on the 10-episode season is slated to begin this summer in Toronto, with Tatiana Maslany to return in the lead role.
The April 18 four-channel bow for the season three premiere of Orphan Black brought in 697,000 viewers on Space, CTV, Bravo and MTV, which made it the most-watched episode of the series to date based on final data. Overnight viewership for the season three premiere was 594,000. The season three premiere marked the first time Bell Media used its “roadblock” strategy to debut the same episode of Orphan Black across multiple channels at once. The season one and season two premieres only aired on Space.
Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with Space and BBC America.
