Today we look back at the summer numbers to see which stations were hot. The new PPM radio ratings release from Numeris completes the thirteen week period covering June 1 to Aug. 30, 2015. Let’s take a look the five PPM markets.
Toronto: Bragging rights at the top of the ratings heap go to CHFI-FM with a 9.8% share of hours tuned for A12+ (up from 9.5% last time out). CHUM-FM takes the top spot with ladies 25 to 54, delivering a 17.9% share (down from 18.4%), followed by CHFI-FM with 14.2% (down from 14.6%).
BOOM-FM holds the top spot for men 25 to 54, posting a 12.9% share (down from 13.8% in the last 13-week book) followed by Q107 at 11.7% (up from 9.3%). Virgin 99.9 leads the way for men 18 to 34 with a 10.1% share. For women 18 to 34, CHUM-FM tops the list posting a 19.6% (down from 26.3%).
Vancouver: 103.5 QM-FM grabs the #1 spot for A12+ with a 11.7% share of hours tuned (up from 11.6% last time out). Taking the top spot for women 25 to 54 was QM-FM, posting a 14.9% share (up from 12.3% last time out). JACK-FM holds the lead for male 25 to 54 listeners, delivering a 13.6% share (up from 10.8%). The FOX is out in front for men 18 to 34 with an 18.2% share of hours tuned (down from 22.0%). When it comes to females 18 to 34, Z95.3 takes top spot with a 14.4% share (down from 17.2%).
Edmonton: 102.3 NOW Radio rules the roost for A12+ posting a 12.1% share of hours tuned (up from 11.1%). NOW Radio takes top spot for women 25 to 54, delivering a 10.1% share (down from 16.7%). NOW also tops the list for men 25 to 54 with a 15.9% share (up from 15.7%). For men 18 to 34, NOW! posted a 18.3% (down from 19.1%) And for women 18 to 34 NOW! delivered a 23.2%.
Calgary: Country105 leads the way for A12+ with a 10.9% (up from 10.2%), followed closely by XL103 with a 10.8% share (down slightly from 10.9%). Country 105 is popular with the ladies, taking top spot for women 25 to 54, delivering an 11.8% share (up from 11.3%). Coming in second for the demo is XL103 with an 11.1% share.
For men 25 to 54, XL103 is number one with an 11.4% (down from 12.4%). Country 105 takes top spot for men 18 to 34 delivering a 14.7% share. Country 105 is tops for women 18 to 34 posting a 14.5% share.
Montreal: CFGL-FM 105.7 Rythme FM is number one for A12+ with a 15.5% share (up from 14.7%). CFGL-FM 105.7 Rythme FM is tops with the ladies, taking top spot for women 25 to 54 delivering a 20.1% share (up from 17.5 %). For men 25 to 54 CHMP 98.5FM is in a dead heat with CITEF: 107.3 Rouge FM, both have a 13.5% share. Virgin Radio 96 is #1 for men 18 to 34 with a 15.1% share.
