CBC revealed the final pieces of its new daytime show this week, naming host and author Andrea Bain and chef Shahir Massoud to the program.

Called The Goods, the hour-long show will air weekday afternoons at 2 p.m. beginning Oct. 3, and will be taped in front of a live studio audience.

Bain and Massoud join previously announced hosts Jessi Cruickshank and Steven Sabados.

Bain has hosted national lifestyle shows on HGTV and Slice, and will release her first book, Single Girl Problems, later this year.

Massoud worked as a chef in New York City, as well as corporate executive chef at Italian restaurant chain Levetto, overseeing multiple locations across Ontario. He has made regular appearances on Canadian morning and daytime shows, including Cityline and Breakfast Television.

Each of the hosts will be sharing their expertise on the lifestyle show: Cruickshank on style and fashion; Sabados on home and design; Bain on relationships and wellness; and Massoud on food.

Elsewhere on conventional TV’s daytime schedule, The Goods will be against Dr. Oz on CTV, a repeat of The Social on CTV Two and The Talk on Global.
