Cue Digital adds Popsugar to its roster

The online media sales agency has expanded on its existing millennial reach, particularly with women.

Online media sales agency Cue Digital Media has expanded its exclusive relationship with Group Nine Media to add women’s lifestyle site PopSugar to its roster of titles in Canada. Group Nine acquired PopSugar last fall to join its portfolio along with NowThis, The Dodo, Thrillist and Seeker, which were already part of Cue’s remit.

PopSugar reaches 50% of millennial women in the U.S. and leads all women’s lifestyle publishers in user engagement, according to Comscore and Platform Analytics 2019. It is also the ‘most engaged-with’ women’s lifestyle site in the U.S. (ComScore, February 2020). PopSugar’s premium lifestyle content spans fitness, health and wellness, beauty and entertainment.

With PopSugar added to its remit, Cue Digital now reaches over 16 million unique Canadians across its line up of premium publishers each month, including more than 47% of Canadian millennials.

PopSugar Fitness is the number one most-viewed fitness publisher across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (Tubular Labs, May 2020) and recently surpassed five million subscribers on YouTube. The brand also recently teamed up with retailer Old Navy to create a tween clothing line, PS x ON, that’s now available at Old Navy locations in Canada and the U.S.
