Not a lot changed at the top of the lists of Canada’s top TV buyers last week, according to AdEase data for the week of Feb. 27 to March 5.
McDonald’s once again bought the most TV spots in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, and the second-most in Calgary, where Tim Hortons was again the top buyer. Subaru also maintained its number two spot in Vancouver from the previous week.
One exception to the lack of change was on specialty, where McDonald’s re-claimed the top spot after being in second the previous week. Chevrolet Canada also boosted its specialty buy, pushing previous top buyer Subaru to third.
Categorically, QSRs were the most active advertiser category across markets, with the like of Popeye’s, Domino’s and A&W also contributing.
