Things stayed relatively unchanged across Canada’s biggest TV ad markets, according to media monitoring data from AdEase for the week of May 29 to June 4.

McDonald’s, Subaru and Tim Hortons were once again the three most active TV advertisers, largely supporting the same campaigns that have been getting the bulk of their focus in recent weeks.

McDonald’s ran of mix of ads promoting its summer drinks, Quarter Pounder and drive-thru. Subaru is continuing to promote the new Ascent, while Tim Hortons is continuing to advertise recent barbecue additions to its menu.

Recent top-ten advertisers Subway, Tide and Chevrolet moved their buys up slightly, while Unilever’s Dove and P&G’s Febreeze made big jumps in their respective TV presences.
