Optable teams with Qonsent to ensure clean room data is privacy-safe

The partnership adds tools to help brands obtain and track user consent for data use and collection.

First party data company Qonsent and clean room platform Optable have to give advertisers assurance that the data they are using was obtained with proper consent and is fully privacy-compliant.

The collaboration is designed to offer a privacy-safe and consented data collaboration experience by seamlessly enabling guaranteed first-party, consented data for media activation and measurement purposes.

Key features of this new platform includes the ability for publishers to gain actionable insights through leveraging private, consented audience data. It also offers seamless integration when gathering and transacting with first-data and simplified consent management and consent tracking.

Qonsent is focused on helping brands capture consent for the data they collect from consumers. By integrating Qonsent into Optable’s platform, data becomes instantly compliant in collecting and handling direct consent across personally identifiable information (PII). It also provides access to its SmartQontract, which simplifies user agreement understanding and incorporates real-time ID validation.

Optable has been focused on interoperability with developing its clean room tech, helping publishers and brands handle the changing landscape of data regulations. The partnership with Qonsent takes this further by introducing proof of consent with precise permissions, real-time identity resolution, and private management of personal and household-level data.

“Trackable user consent and data privacy are driving most of the shifts in today’s advertising ecosystem,” says Yves PoirĂ©, co-founder and CEO of Optable. “With the shift to cookieless advertising, privacy-safe media planning, activation and measurement have become essential for working with audience data. In light of this, traceable consent with granular permissions is crucial to treating consumers and their data with the respect they deserve.”
