Digital screen maker Vertical City and its advertising platform Vertical Impression have expanded south of the border.
Vertical City is a Canadian seller of hardware and software for digital video screens, primarily for use in elevators, and is currently the largest elevator screen network in Canada. Vertical Impression is its advertising arm, which makes place-based digital OOH inventory available through programmatic platforms like Vistar, Hivestack, Place Exchange and Broadsign.
The Vertical Impression network now has 2500 screens across more than 135 markets across North America, with goals to double its network size within a year and to become the largest elevator screen network in North America within three years, according to Fouad El-Masri, CEO and co-founder at Vertical City.
Along with the geographical expansion, Vertical Impression has also expanded its signage network beyond residential to also include commercial, hotel, entertainment, hospital, government and university properties.
In addition to new building types, Nicolette Leonardis, president and co-founder, says the company can now access markets in the U.S. that had previously been unreachable.
