AdCellerant, a U.S.-based digital advertising technology and services company, has officially launched its Canadian operations in Calgary and its digital ad solutions into Canada.
AdCellerant, which partners with media companies, agencies and brands, announced the expansion early last month as the first step in the company’s plan to take its ad tech and services to new markets.
AdCellerant’s white-label platform, built for media companies and their SME clients, has now been expanded to scale in any international market.
AdCellerant said it selected Calgary for its headquarters because the city is one of the country’s fastest-growing hubs for innovation and technology. Also attractive to the company is Canada’s digital advertising market, which is projected to reach $15.9 billion this year, presenting a significant opportunity for innovation and automation, the key pillars of AdCellerant’s platform.
George Leith has been appointed president of the company’s international partnerships and is leading AdCellerant’s Canadian operations. Leith previously led the sales organization at Vendasta for a decade and most recently served as managing partner and chief revenue officer at Harvard Media.

Also new to AdCellerant is Anthony Gallace, who is now the senior director of agency partnerships. Gallace previously worked with Harvard Media in Alberta and was based in Edmonton as regional director of advertising for Postmedia.
Todd RobertsĀ has been appointed AdCellerant’s senior business development manager. Roberts brings more than a decade of experience in digital marketing, sales and client relations to his new post.
