Slice ties the knot with two new shows

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the nuptially-themed night, which will be promoted with a multi-platform campaign.

Shaw Media-owned Slice will be ringing the matrimonial bell this summer with two new back-to-back wedding shows every Thursday evening, beginning mid-June.

Opening the Thursday wedding evening is Canadian series Brides of Beverly Hills, which premieres at 9:30 p.m. on June 16. The reality show, filmed in an exclusive L.A. bridal boutique, documents Hollywood brides and their search for that perfect gown.

According to a contact from Shaw Media the show will be promoted with an Ontario-focused campaign, including OOH posters in fitness centres, malls, restaurants and women’s clothing store change rooms as well as on targeted websites, such as Laineygossip.com, TMZ, Msn.ca and Shaw Media sites. A national print component of the campaign will run in magazines, including People, Elle Canada, Chatelaine and Flare.

Pun-happy Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings will debut immediately after Brides of Beverly Hills at 10 p.m on Thursday nights. The third instalment of the Tori and Dean franchise gives viewers another look into the lives of the reality show darlings, following the couple as they help plan a bride and groom’s big day.

Promotion for the newest offering from Tori and Dean will  be focused in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton with media posters running in malls and restaurants and  a digital media buy running on site, including People.com, Msn.ca and TMZ. A national print campaign for the show will run in Fashion magazine.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for both new shows.
