Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for June 21 to June 27, 2010:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: Canadians were glued to their TV sets during the G20 summit in Toronto, and CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. was most-watched for four days this week leading up to the conference with 1.451 million viewers. Big Bang Theory on CTV was the most-watched program the previous Monday with 1.575 million viewers, while Citytv’s America’s Got Talent was the winner the previous Tuesday with 1.587 million fans and So You Think You Can Dance on CTV brought in 1.447 million viewers the previous Wednesday.

Thursday: The marketing push for Rookie Blue seems to be paying off for Canwest (or should we say Postmedia Network) as the new Toronto-based TV cop drama on Global won the night with 1.9 million viewers tuning in at 9 p.m. CTV Evening News dominated the previous week with 1.296 million viewers.

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. had 1.451 million viewers, averaging more than the previous week when it was the most-watched program with 1.296 million viewers.

Saturday, Sunday: As the tournament gets tougher, more people are tuning in to FIFA World Cup on CBC – the weekend games, which start at 9:45 a.m., won the week with 1.968 million viewers. The World Cup ousted CTV National News, which was the winner the previous week with 1.122 million viewers.
