MPG restructures Canadian operations

Palm + Havas' media operations are integrated into MPG Canada. MPG's Gingras, Johnson promoted to co-lead agency, while Media Contacts' Williams also gets promoted.

MPG Canada announced Thursday changes to the agency structure.

The media operations of Montreal-based Palm + Havas, a full-service Havas agency, will be brought under the MPG Canada umbrella. Palm + Havas will continue as a full-service agency, a release said, but it will partner with MPG Canada on media planning and buying.

The new structure meant some promotions in the agency, with Isabel Gingras and Kevin Johnson co-leading MPG Canada under the same titles: SVP and managing director. Gingras, whose former title was VP media, will continue on in Montreal, while Johnson, formerly SVP group account director, will remain in Toronto.

Additionally, Media Contacts – another Havas agency – has added SVP to managing director Chris Williams’s title at the digital agency as well.
