The Film jury at this year’s Cannes International Advertising Festival has had a bit of a Canadian shake-up as Stephen Leps, former CD at Toronto-based Zig has left the agency to join another firm in Chicago. Replacing him on the jury will be Alan Gee, partner and chief creative officer at Toronto-based GJP.
‘We are confident he will be a strong advocate for Canadian work,’ said Andrew Saunders, VP advertising sales, the Globe and Mail, which is the Official Canadian Representative for Cannes Lions, in a release. ‘We look forward to seeing the largest number of Canadians ever on the winners list for Cannes.’
