Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for May 3 to May 9, 2010.
Monday: NHL playoffs round two on CBC dominated this week, winning Monday night in the ratings with 2.518 million viewers at 7 p.m. The first round of the playoffs was the champ the previous week as well with 1.938 million viewers.
Tuesday: The playoffs on CBC also ousted American Idol from the top spot with 2.518 million viewers watching the game. Idol had an audience of 2.704 million on CTV the previous week.
Wednesday: American Idol results show could not be beat however, with 2.709 million viewers watching the show at 9 p.m. as the top program of the night. Idol had 2.445 million viewers the previous week.
Thursday: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains on Global at 8 p.m. stayed on top of the ratings for the week with 2.8 million fans tuning in. Survivor had 2.864 million Canadians watch the competition show the previous week.
Friday and Saturday: The NHL playoffs on CBC at 7 p.m. dominated the weekend with 2.58 million viewers. The playoffs were most-watched the previous week with 2.397 million.
Sunday: The Amazing Race 16 on CTV at 8 p.m. was the top program of the night and in third place for the week with 2.580 million. Amazing Race had 2.180 million fans watch the competitors duke it out the previous week.
