The Government of Canada holds steady: Media Monitors radio rankings: March 15 to 21, 2010

It's a relatively quiet week in terms of chart movement for radio buying action, as the Feds deliver the biggest spend for the second week in a row.

For the second week in a row, the Government and Canada commanded the top radio buy spot in both Toronto and Montreal, according to Media Monitors spending rankings for the week of March 15 to 21.

In Toronto, both the Feds and Sears repeated their #1-#2 positioning, with Rona moving up a couple of slots to #3 and Toys R Us debuting at #4.

Other gigantic jumps included a 64-point advance by Rogers Wireless to #6 and 11 steps for Sleep Country Canada to #7.

Meanwhile, travelling up the 401, the Government of Canada also retains its top Montreal spot, AlarmForce slipped into #2 and pushed the Government of Quebec down to #3.

Discount department chain Brault & Martineau moved up nine positions to #7 as the only big leaper in the Montreal market this week.
