The judges for this year’s Globe and Mail Young Lions competition for the print, cyber and film categories has been announced. The winning teams from the in-Canada arm will represent Canada in the global Young Lions competition in Cannes.
Advertising creatives, account planners, media planners and buyers and students 28 or younger are eligible to enter. Registered entrants will receive creative briefs on March 27 at 9 a.m. and will have exactly 24 hours to submit entries for the print, cyber and media categories, and 48 hours for the film category.
The registration deadline has been extended to March 19, due to a large volume of requests, so those interested in putting their hat into this year’s ring have a little more time to enter. ‘We are delighted by the unprecedented enthusiasm demonstrated for our competition this year,’ said Andrew Saunders, VP advertising sales, the Globe and Mail, in a release. ‘It speaks to a healthy, vibrant advertising and marketing industry in Canada.’
