Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free, ad-supported streaming service, has added two new channels to its roster of over 70 premium channels already available in Canada through millions of Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, and on the web. The service delivers both free live TV and on-demand programming.

The new channels include Classic Doctor Who, where viewers can watch the first seven regenerations of Doctor Who, and Operation Repo, which gives an inside look into the world of car repossession with a group of trained professionals in the heart of California’s San Fernando Valley.

Samsung Ads is the brand’s advertising ecosystem powered by data from millions of connected devices. Samsung Ads data is exclusive and only available on the Samsung Ads platform for custom targeting and measurement.

Samsung Ads uses Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology to help advertisers reach both English and French audiences in a more targeted way. It provides direct insights into viewer behaviour on smart TVs by recognizing viewing across linear TV, OTT, and gaming environments.
