Hot on the heels of launching a Citytv video app for iPad, Rogers has announced it is expanding and offering the service on iPhone and iPod Touch.

The app features live streaming of Citytv’s morning and daytime programming, as well as on-demand primetime content with full-length episodes of shows like 2 Broke Girls, Suburgatory and Person of Interest.

The Citytv iPhone app also includes a TV schedule and a notification service which can remind users of their favourite shows. It also remembers the user’s viewing history and allows people to share video links on Facebook, Twitter and via email.

Sponsorship opportunities for the iPhone app are available, as are load screen, display mobile ads and pre and mid-roll ad opps.
