For the first time, the Old Port of Montreal Corporation has granted a separate AOR contract to develop online campaigns for its two main brands. Montreal-based interactive agency Revolver 3 won the bid from three finalists and will handle marketing and communications for the Quays of the Old Port and the Montreal Science Center. The interactive agency will work together with the corporation’s AOR, Zoum Armada, to develop year-round campaigns with local, national and international reach.
The science centre and Quay both aim to attract a variety of audiences, including families and young professionals, Montrealers and tourists. ‘We must assure all segments of the corporation’s offer are communicated to the right people. We need to be pertinent in our messages,’ says Sébastien Viau, Revolver 3 VP client services, in a release.
While budget specifics could not be revealed, the corporation intends to increase its interactive budget consistently over the next three years, a Revolver 3 spokesperson tells MiC.
Jérôme Dufour, VP marketing at the Old Port of Montreal Corporation, says Revolver 3 was chosen for their expertise and creative, integrated vision. ‘It will allow us to accelerate the development of our interactive communications as well as our web presence,’ Dufour says, in a release.
