Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for March 23 – 29, 2009:
Monday: CSI Miami on CTV at 8 pm attracted the largest audience for the night with 1.806 million viewers. (House on Global was the highest-rated show the previous week with 2.476 million viewers.)
Tuesday: The Mentalist on CTV at 10 pm was the most watched program with 1.722 million viewers. (American Idol performance show on CTV, which was moved to Wednesday night, was the champ the previous week with 2.128 million viewers.)
Wednesday: American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.102 million viewers. (American Idol results show was the highest-rated program the previous week with 2.110 million viewers.)
Thursday: A new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 pm was the most popular show for the night and the week with 2.375 million viewers. (It was also most watched the previous Thursday with an audience of 2.321 million.)
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 pm has the largest share of the audience with 1.292 million viewers. (Almost the same number of people tuned in the previous week with 1.367 million viewers.)
Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada on CBC at 7 pm was watched by 1.274 million hockey fans. (The show was also highest-rated the previous week but with 1.274 viewers.)
Sunday: The Amazing Race on CTV at 8 pm topped the ratings for the night with 1.876 million viewers. (It was the most watched program the previous week with an audience of 1.943 million.)
