DC’s Enjoy the Ride More gets a Push

Canadian action sports site hits the slopes with board brand for event/online partnership.

One of Canada’s newest action sport websites, Push.ca and skate/snowboard equipment and apparel company DC are teaming up on its Enjoy the Ride More winter event next weekend at Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain Ski Resort.

DC launched its Enjoy The Ride More snowboard campaign in November and has developed commercials featuring pro snowboarders Iikka Backstrom and Devun Walsh, alongside TV infomercial host Billy Mays, promoting their newest snowboards and boots. For the snowboard festivities, Push.ca will be the media host, posting up to the minute original content throughout the event.

Launched in September, the site currently attracts 40,000 unique viewers per month according to ComScore data and offers HD-quality videos, blogs, news, photo galleries, forums and columns, among other elements such as a Virtual Earth Skatepark Directory, that provides visitors an interactive satellite map to over 400 skateparks in Canada. Targeting Canadian males 18-24, Push.ca works with brands on integrated programs, as well as sponsorship of site-exclusive video series and web content. Current advertisers on the website include Grouse Mountain Ski Resort and Big White Ski Resort.
