Cosmo TV launches The Rachel Zoe Project

The Woolite-sponsored Canadian series premiere gives young women an inside look into the fast-paced world of fashion styling.

Cosmopolitan TV is launching the Canadian premiere of The Rachel Zoe Project this January. The six-part docudrama, targeting the 18-34 female demo, follows celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her trusted inner circle – husband Rodger Berman, styling associate Taylor Jacobson and new small-town Ontario assistant Brad Goreski – as they work around the clock to balance a gruelling schedule with their clashing personalities.

Each hour-long episode gives viewers a fly-on-the-wall look at the woman behind the flawless image as she juggles runway shows and celebrity clients and attempts to turn the business into a globally recognized brand. The premiere, which airs on Jan. 12 at 9 pm, features an under-pressure Zoe looking for the perfect red carpet gown for actress Joy Bryant. As the season continues, viewers will get to know Zoe on a personal level, coming inside her L.A. home office as she works to create iconic looks for her A-list clients including Jennifer Garner and Debra Messing.

Marketing support for the series includes two weeks of radio spots starting in January, created by Zig, and Reckitt Benckiser’s brand Woolite is the show’s sponsor.

CosmoTV is in over five million homes and can be found on Rogers Digital Cable on channel 262, on Bell ExpressVU digital TV on channel 608, on Star Choice on Channel 569, on Shaw on channel 158 and on MTS on channel 136.
