The new competition series America’s Toughest Jobs – with a grand prize of $250,000 – will air Mondays at 9 pm beginning August 25 on CTVglobemedia’s A channel. The prime-time series will move to Fridays at 8 pm on Sept. 19, in simulcast with NBC.
Thirteen contestants – including a sailboat captain, the VP of a software company and a martial arts instructor – will engage in dangerous jobs in various locations. The premiere episode, for example, is dubbed ‘Crab Fishing’ and takes place off the coast of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, in the Bering Sea, where participants will try to catch the most critters.
