CBC is the new home of Wheel of Fortune starting in October, and the show will celebrate its migration from CTV with Canadian-themed shows.

Explains longtime Wheel host Pat Sajak, ‘It gave us a chance to spend the week sort of officially welcoming the CBC aboard.’

The north-of-the-border eps will air October 13-17 in the 5:30 pm time slot and feature Canuck-related puzzles, plus prizes that include trips to Canadian destinations like Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto.

Sajak says the kick-off shows on the Ceeb will include ‘some Canadian fun facts, because a lot of Americans are not necessarily well-versed in what goes on north of their border. We had fun with that.’
