Set to premiere in October on Showcase, Testees is a new half-hour comedy series by Kenny Hotz (Kenny vs. Spenny – pictured).

The show revolves around the two best friends (played by Canadian newcomers Steve Markle and Jeff Kassel) who work at a product development facility as hapless test subjects. In each episode, they try out new products with results that are almost always negative.

Hotz is the executive producer, along with John Morayniss (Kenny vs. Spenny) and Michael Rosenberg (Chasing Christmas), in association with Canwest.
