Million Dollar Password to debut June 1

CTV has set a time slot in its summer sked for Regis Philbin's game show remake.

CTV has set a premiere date of June 1 for Million Dollar Password, the new celeb-powered game show hosted by Regis Philbin. The series will hit the 8 pm time slot this Sunday. The net’s summer sked announcements were made earlier this month, but the show had not yet been slotted.

A makeover of a classic game show called Password (1961-75), the show will team contestants with celebrities for the chance to earn up to $1 million. On the bill so far are Rosie O’Donnell, Betty White, Rachael Ray and Neil Patrick Harris.

One player from the team is told secret passwords and can use only one-word clues as hints to help their teammate guess the words. If the player and the celebrity work together successfully, they could uncover the Million Dollar Password.
