Rogers Media’s Citytv has picked up NBC’s new adventure series, Crusoe, for its fall schedule. The show is an adaptation of the 1719 Daniel Defoe novel about a man who leaves for adventure on the high seas only to find himself shipwrecked. It will air in the Friday 8 pm time slot on Citytv and NBC.
Crusoe stars Philip Winchester (Flyboys, Thunderbirds) and Anna Walton (Hellboy II: The Golden Army), and is directed by Duane Clark (CSI: Miami; CSI: NY).

American Gladiators, hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali, returned yesterday for its second season. The two-hour premiere will air again on Friday May 16 on Citytv and on Sunday May 18 on G4TechTV.
Citytv will launch a new baseball show, covering everything from minor leagues to the Toronto Blue Jays, called Batter Up. The show will be hosted by the net’s resident sports specialist, Hugh Burrill. It premieres Tuesday, May 13 at 10:30 pm on Citytv Toronto.
The net will premiere season four of romantic reality series The Bachelorette on Thursday, May 22. The show premieres with a two-hour episode in with the following time slots: Citytv Toronto, 9 pm ET, moving to 8 pm ET on May 29; Citytv Winnipeg, 8 pm CT; Citytv Calgary 10 pm MT, moving to 9 pm MT on May 29; Citytv Edmonton, 10 pm MT, moving to 9 pm MT on May 29; and Citytv Vancouver, 9 pm PT, moving to 8 pm PT on May 29.
