Revamped to be more advantageous to both readers and advertisers, Todaysparent.com and its bimonthly newsletter have been relaunched. The publisher is also bowing three new quarterlies: Your Pregnancy & Birth, Your Toddler and Preschooler and Your School-ager.

‘In addition to the vibrant new look and feel, we’ve simplified the navigation, added Web 2.0 functionality like comments and ratings and grown our offering of web-exclusive content and tools,’ explains site GM Hailey Biback. ‘We made these changes after listening to our community because, after all, this is their site. But our core purpose remains the same: [helping] parents build happy, healthy families, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.’

TodaysParent.com, which has over 100,000 subscribers, as well as 1.9 million page views and 231,000 unique visitors per month, has also expanded its offering of tools and newsletters, creating new, targeted advertising and sponsorship opportunities. For example, a new ‘Cooking with Kids Recipe File’ has been added to offer parents the chance to search for recipes by ingredient, meal or special occasion. Users can even sign up for a free Personal Recipe Box, which allows them to save their faves for quick future access.

As well, the website’s home page has been rejuvenated to help users navigate the site more efficiently, and users can now set up a free profile to chat in the forums and comment on and rate all content.
