Advertising opportunities are still on offer for the site, which will stay active through December 31. Lined up so far are title sponsor Amarula, Hugo Fragrance, Universal Music, Penguin Books, Lifford Wines, Telus Mobility and RedTag.ca.
The concept is to provide Lavalife subscribers with a one-stop shopping experience to preview and purchase everything on their wish lists – as well as to pick up ‘single-friendly’ holiday entertaining tips, eliminating the need for lengthy cyber searches elsewhere. The holiday gift guide also contains feature articles such as ‘Holiday Gifts for New Loves,’ ‘Green Gifting,’ ‘Gifts for Pampered Pets,’ ‘Spicy Stocking Stuffers’ and ‘Handling Secret Santa.’ Gift ordering and shipping options are available directly from the site.
As well, singles can enter online for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip for two to Cancun, Mexico, courtesy of RedTag.ca. Developed entirely in-house, the holiday gift guide is being promoted in Lavalife’s online vehicles.
