Today, in a move aimed at streamlining ops and expanding new service offerings, Taxi Canada announced changes to its leadership. As of September 1, Rob Guenette will be president of the agency, while Daniel Rabinowicz will serve as president of a new service dubbed Taxi Content, which will focus on opportunities for Canadian and American clients in new and emerging media. Rabinowicz will work closely with Taxi’s TV and movie production unit, Chokolat, and its founder, Jeff Spriet, and will help develop content solutions in areas including gaming and mobile technology.
Supporting Guenette in his new role will be a central leadership team of general managers overseeing each of Taxi’s five Canada offices. Yves Blain adds the role of GM in Montreal to his current duties as VP, director relationship marketing for the Taxi network. Cheryl Grishkewich, most recently client service director in Toronto, takes on new responsibilities as GM, Taxi Toronto. At Taxi 2, Toronto, Jeremy Gayton continues as GM. Victoria Gray joins Taxi as GM, Taxi West, overseeing Calgary and Vancouver. Nancy Beattie will continue in her current role as GM responsible for Telus.
